Most Important Relationship
The universe is a tool through which G-d (Source)
coordinates His master plan. To think good and it will be good is absolute trust in G-d, with our unreserved feeling of necessity upon Him. There
is no relationship greater than the relationship between you and G-d from which
you have come.
Since, G-d is perfect, He was missing nothing before creation. So, creating us could not have been to fulfill a need. It
was G-d, who chose to want us because He didn’t have a relationship before
creation. He was alone and wanted a relationship with free beings. He created
us and gave us ways of connecting to Him because he didn’t need it, He wanted
it.
This does not make us less important. It is the opposite,
when we have a relationship with someone just for need then the relationship
ends when the need has been fulfilled. But when we have a relationship with
someone because we want to, we have chosen to connect to them and the bond is genuine.
We don’t love them for what they do for us, we love them for who they are and
that is forever.
G-d wants us to relate to Him. He chose to bring us into his
being as a pure act of love. If you tend to that relationship, first and foremost,
you will have the unwavering foothold to proceed into other relationships. Your
relationship with your body, with money, with your parents, children, and your
world. In turn, all will easily come into alignment once you cultivate this
fundamental relationship first.
