Culture of Virtuous Depression
Our culture considers depression a form of virtue. We are expected to act ill-tempered, petulant, and apprehensive for the excitement to whine on emotions
of depression. This culture spews weakness, as a strength of character, to complain how easily offended they feel, as if is a positive trait. A Need for safe
spaces because they can’t handle disagreements with others, who oppose their
belief system and petulant ways.
This narcissistic culture manipulates and bullies the world
by its worship and fixation on depression. insanity is sanity. This culture
accuses us of acting unsympathetic and inhuman because are not over eager to
share irrational behavior.
I am here to say that weakness is not strength. Strength of
mind is strength. Strength of character
is the ability to deal with negative issues that comes into our daily lives.
Depression is not normal, but to allow oneself to be brainwashed
by this narcissistic culture is the reason why you can’t overcome depression. It
makes you completely hopeless when dealing with actual misfortune and adversity.
Depression is the dissatisfaction of life and temporary unhappiness. Happiness is
earned by the way you live your life.
When you make bad life choices and self-destroy, your life will become dissatisfied.
Start making better decisions, better life choices,
and become happy.
Become authentic in your life, create value, excitement, read
meaningful books and articles, work on projects, or start a business.
Let your
inner child out and play outdoors.
I don’t have all the answers, but it depends on you to reach
your potential, your self-worth, and self-actualization.
